Frequently Asked Questions

What SEO metadata does this tool check?

The tool checks: title tag, meta description, canonical URL, robots meta tag, X-Robots-Tag header, H1 heading, page language, viewport, Open Graph tags (title, description, image, type), and Twitter Card tags.

Why is my Open Graph image not showing?

If og:image is missing or pointing to a non-existent image, social platforms will either use a random page image or show no image at all. Make sure your og:image URL is absolute (not relative), the image exists, and is at least 1200×630 pixels.

What does "noindex" in robots meta mean?

"noindex" tells search engines not to include the page in their index. This means the page won't appear in search results. Check that important pages don't have "noindex" accidentally set.

Can this tool check pages behind a login?

No. The tool fetches pages as an anonymous user, so pages behind authentication (login, paywall) are not accessible. You'll receive a redirect to the login page or a 401/403 error.
